Dr. Sarah Heslip, L.Ac, DACM
Dr. Heslip (she/her) is a New York State–licensed and board-certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist, holding both a Master of Science and Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Sciences. She trained under medical experts from China, Taiwan, Europe, and the Americas and is experienced in acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, and gua sha.
Before relocating to the Hudson Valley, Dr. Heslip co-founded Akos Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in Manhattan, where she supported many patients on their fertility journeys and treated professional athletes and performing artists.
Her comprehensive approach integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western medical principles, emphasizing whole-body care. Dr. Heslip treats a wide range of conditions including stress and anxiety, chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, women’s health, fertility, autoimmune conditions, and psycho-emotional concerns. Each treatment is individually tailored and supported by patient education to promote lasting physical and mental well-being.
Dr. Heslip earned her B.A. in Art History from Bard College. She grew up in the Berkshire Hills and now lives in Kingston with her family.
